Vancil Performing Arts Center offers a wide variety of dance styles for boys and girls of all ages and skill levels. There are Recreational classes for students wishing to dance for fun and exercise, and Dance Companies for dancers wishing to participate in competitions and possibly pursue dance as a career.

Recreational Dance Classes
Beginner Ballet
Ages 2-3, 4-5, and 5-6
This class will teach basic ballet for the appropriate age level along with creative expression and the use of imagination. This class emphasizes appropriate teaching techniques for children of all ages while stimulating creativity and imagination. (Note: by enrolling in both Ballet/Creative Movement and Tap or Tap/Jazz, the student will maximize the benefits of thier dance education.)

Beginner Tap

Our tap class will focus on rhythm and timing along with the basic tap steps. class emphasizes appropriate teaching techniques for children of all ages while stimulating creativity and imagination. Tap and Jazz Combination Class
Ages 4-5, 5-6, 7-8, Gold Level, and Emerald Level
Tap class will combine rhythm, timing, coordination and style. Jazz movements are taught to a variety of modern day music. Dancers will begin to lean more about stage performance at this level.
